Leather Museum of Ubrique
We started our articles on leather-related museums referring to the closest to us:
Located in the old Convent of Capuchins (right picture). The funds are up items related to Ubrique leather from diverse backgrounds: both machines and tools and parts manufactured in Ubrique throughout its history. The idea of the museum is building on real objects and phenomena being based on the comparative information of the documents consulted and provided by our elders.
The leather museum of Allariz
Returning to our articles about leather museums, now we refer to a museum in Allariz, a nice place in the province of Ourense.
It is located next to the Arnoia River, where there are many tanneries like, Torre Lombarda factory, Curtido Vilanova tannery, A Casqueira factory, Curtidos de Meire factory y the Nogueiras family tannery (where is located the museum).

Igualada Leather Museum
Following our articles about museums we are going to speak about to the Igualada Leather Museum; this Museum is in region of Anoia in the province of Barcelona. This region has developed over the centuries thanks to the industry.
The Museum was founded in 1954 as the first of this specialty in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the top three in Europe. The collections are divided into 2 buildings; Factory “Cal Boyer” and the tannery “Cal Granotes”.
